Darcy in Love

While I was at Lambton, I started to notice that Darcy has been acting very different. When he was in Hertfordshire, he told me he would never dance with Elizabeth because she was not handsome enough to tempt her. Now, I can tell he is in love with her. He asked her to marry him, but she declined it. I can tell he is not upset, he is just looking to impress her so he may have a better chance the next time he asks. I know he truly loves Elizabeth because there is no other motive I see. He does not want any of her sisters and he is much more wealthy than the Bennet family, so it is not for money. I hope he does what makes him happy, even if this includes marrying Elizabeth Bennet.

Arrival at Lambton

Darcy wanted Elizabeth to become acquaintances with his sister, Georgiana, so he planned to visit her when Georgiana came into town. The day after Lizzy toured his estate, Miss Darcy arrived in town, so they went over to Lizzy's house. My two sisters and I attended this small get-together as well. It was great to see everybody. I could see that Lizzy wanted to be mad at me. The look on her eye was not a friendly look, but she warmed up to me as we started to talk. I could tell she was still mad at me for moving away, but I still asked how the family was. My sisters were as cold as ever to Lizzy, and I want to change that. They need to learn to not be so cruel. It was great seeing her and I hope to see the rest of the family in the near future.

Mrs. Reynolds Praises Darcy

Recently, people have seen my good friend Darcy in a negative light. I know most of the Bennet girls despise Darcy because he is proud. I know a different side of Darcy that is completely opposite of this. I know Darcy as a kind man. While Elizabeth Bennet was on tour of Pemberly, the housekeeper gave the same report of Darcy that I have been giving all along. She says he is the most agreeable man who never has said an unkind word. Mrs. Reynolds, the keeper, says she has never had a bad conversation with him. She has lived with Darcy since he was four years old. I hope more people can see Darcy the was Mrs. Reynolds and I see him.

Precious Pemberly

I have recently found out that dear Elizabeth Bennet toured Darcy's estate. I hope she was pleasantly surprised. I have toured his estate before and it may be the best land in all of the country. He has the most beautiful surroundings around his magnificent house. All the different ponds, rivers, and trees are a true spectacle. I am sure Elizabeth has never seen something as majestic and Darcy's house. To think it could have been hers if she would have responded differently to his request.

Mrs. Bennet Misses Me

I have heard that Mrs. Bennet is very upset about Jane and me not continuing our relationship after I left town. I want to know that it was not my idea to move away from Hertfordshire. When I was at Netherfield, my intentions were pure. I loved Jane. I wish everybody would know that. I have moved on with my life without bad intentions. I want to let everybody know I did not want to hurt Jane or her family. I hope we can meet again sometime down the road.

Wicked Wickham

Recently, I heard about Elizabeth becoming close to Mr. Wickham. He was once close to Mr. Darcy like a brother, but I have recently learned about his shady background. Darcy knows that Wickham is not the man people think he is. Nobody believes Darcy because Wickham is so charismatic. I am glad he is moving away from Hertfordshire. He left before he could do any damage to Elizabeth. Darcy has told me that he is not a good man, and I would not want a bad man around a family like the Bennets. I hope he does not try to taint any of the women in Brighton.

Just Missed the Bennets

It is too bad the Bennet girls missed us in London. I wish I could have seen them when they dropped by the Gardiner's. I was never great friends with Elizabeth, but I still wish I could have seen her when she was in town. My sisters may not be the kindest towards Elizabeth, but I would warmly welcome her if she would have stopped by our humble estate.

Darcy is Coming Home

When I found out that Darcy was coming home, I was taken over by joy. I have missed him dearly since he left. I cannot wait to see him and ask him about what he said about his time at Rosings. I adore Lady Catherine, and I wish to see if Darcy still loves her presence like he used to. I can't wait until he arrives.

Lizzy Believes Darcy

I am glad Elizabeth believed Darcy about Jane and I. She knows how Jane acts much better than I do. I thought Jane was disinterested in me, but that was just her way of love. It is good that Elizabeth knows that Darcy was just protecting me, not trying to be evil in any way. Elizabeth says she will never have feelings for Mr. Darcy, but at least now she will not hate him for trying to protect me.

Darcy's Deceptive move

Dear Darcy,
I heard that you were a part of breaking up my relationship with Jane. I also heard that you did it because you wanted to protect me. I want to thank you for protecting my feelings, but I also want you to know I can make my own decisions. You did not want me to marry into the Bennet family because they are not as wealthy as you wish. I loved Miss Jane Bennet because she was a sweet, caring woman. You cannot change that. I would appreciate if you did not mess with my love life. Thanks.

Rumors

Word got around that my "friend" Darcy had a hand in moving me away from Netherfield. Somebody told me that Darcy thought it would be imprudent for me to have a relationship with Miss Jane Bennet. Mr. Darcy has no say in who I love. If I love Miss Bennet, I am allowed to love Miss Bennet. Darcy should let me think for myself and do what I want to do. He might think he is doing good, but he should leave me alone.

My Dear Friend Darcy

I have missed my good friend Darcy while he is visiting his aunt at Rosings. I see that he is still up to his usual mischief. I cannot believe he is in love with Elizabeth! To think that only a short time ago, he would not dance with her at the ball. Now, he has openly told her he loves and wants to marry her! This is typical of Darcy. He has his hard outer shell, and most people only see him by this. I hope Elizabeth can see he is sincere. Good luck Darcy.
