I have heard that Mrs. Bennet is very upset about Jane and me not continuing our relationship after I left town. I want to know that it was not my idea to move away from Hertfordshire. When I was at Netherfield, my intentions were pure. I loved Jane. I wish everybody would know that. I have moved on with my life without bad intentions. I want to let everybody know I did not want to hurt Jane or her family. I hope we can meet again sometime down the road.
Mr. Bingley, I appreciate your confessions here, but I am not fully sure as to what Jane will do. She is heartbroken, for I can see it in her, even though she tries not to show it. I hope you shall visit soon because I'm sure Jane would feel very delighted. Again, I thank you for your apologies.
ReplyDeleteIt helps me to know you moved for reasons other than disinterest in me. I do not blame anyone for what happened between us. They say distance makes the heart grow fonder, right? Our door is still open if you are ever near Longbourn. My family would all welcome you into our home again.
