Mrs. Reynolds Praises Darcy

Recently, people have seen my good friend Darcy in a negative light. I know most of the Bennet girls despise Darcy because he is proud. I know a different side of Darcy that is completely opposite of this. I know Darcy as a kind man. While Elizabeth Bennet was on tour of Pemberly, the housekeeper gave the same report of Darcy that I have been giving all along. She says he is the most agreeable man who never has said an unkind word. Mrs. Reynolds, the keeper, says she has never had a bad conversation with him. She has lived with Darcy since he was four years old. I hope more people can see Darcy the was Mrs. Reynolds and I see him.

  1. I am glad you two see me in this light, but it is hardly likely that many other people will. With Wickham running around and spreading fictitious stories about my interactions with him, I will probably be consistently viewed in a poor light. It doesn't matter as much to me, but I do hope that Elizabeth begins to see my better side. After the way we left at Rosings, I hope her opinion about me can be drastically altered.
